This book was disappointing considering how much hype it produced. He seemed to follow the way the Girl on the Train was written, but he never went for me. I’m doing the recurring definition of the main character: Anna poured wine, drank wine, poured wine, spilled her head wine, dressed in her dress and made her head drab and boring. I needed to be defined the same way every day, because it was always the same. Everyday. As I read it, I wondered if the author had repeatedly copied and used these statements when he described Anna’s daily wine intake and sloppy behavior. The story was a bit interesting, but I found the explanations unnecessary. Another reader told me well that the book could be much shorter.
