I decided to wait a while to write this review because I wanted to use ratings and at least a few weeks before reviewing. Remember that this is my first stainless steel cookware set, so I can’t compare them to other stainless steel sets. I only used countless types / styles of non-stick sets. Teflon, ceramic, “green pan”, copper chef, etc. (I didn’t actually get a cookware set until I bought them, others were a kind of gift).
I was trying to determine whether or not Calphalon was making a big discount at that time (a set of copper on the outside, stainless in the inside, aluminum core), but I preferred them, except for all comparisons and other reviews. mainly due to the blackening of the copper and its ugly disfiguring. He also tested the Test Kitchen sauce pans of America. Of course the winner was completely out of my price range. Their next suggestion was the Cuisinart Multiclad, which was unlimited, and I thought they should work similarly.
